As a Christian, wife, and mom, creating apparel for Salvation’s Light isn’t just about making clothes, it’s about living out my faith and sharing God’s Word in a way that encourages others. Every design starts with inspiration from Scripture, moments of reflection, or lessons God is teaching me in my own life.
Before anything reaches our shop, my husband, daughter, and son see it first. They are my most honest reviewers. When my daughter exclaims, “That’s so slay!” or my son says, “I’d wear that,” I know the design is ready. Their excitement reminds me that faith can be fun, and relatable for the whole family.
As someone who struggles with anxiety, my favorite design is the Women’s “Faith Over Fear” hoodie, inspired by Isaiah 41:10. Every time I wear it, I’m reminded that God is with me even in moments when fear tries to take over. Designing this piece wasn’t just about creating a shirt, it was about capturing a truth that’s deeply personal, that faith can be stronger than fear, and God’s presence can calm even the anxious heart.
Each design I create is my attempt to reflect God’s light in the world. I hope that every family who wears Salvation’s Light feels encouraged, confident, and reminded that God’s love is always with them, no matter the circumstances.
